God is full of grace (Exodus 34: 6 )-He passed in front of Moses and said, "I am the LORD," " I am the LORD, the merciful and gracious God. I am slow to anger and rich in unfailing love and faithfulness."
God is slow to become angry (Psalm 86: 15)-But you, O LORD, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love and truth.
God's grace makes salvation possible (Ephesians 1: 7-8)-He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
God accepts us by his grace (Ephesians 2: 8-9)-And so God can always point to us as examples of the incredible wealth of his favor and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us through Christ Jesus. God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
God's grace gives us hope (1 Peter 1: 13)-So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the special blessings that will come to you at the return of Jesus Christ.
God holds those in government accountable (Deutoronomy 17: 18-19)-When he sits on the throne as king, he must copy these laws on a scroll for himself in the presence of the Levitical priests. He must always keep this copy of the law with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the LORD his God by obeying all the terms of this law.
God gives authority to those in government (Romans 13: 1)-Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God.
Christians should obey the government (Titus 3:1)-Remind your people to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.
