God the Holy Spirit was involved in Creation; scriptures read: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The earth was without form and void; that darkness was on the face of the deep. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Moving forward in scripture we see that God created people. God created man and woman; in His image He created them. God created the world good; He saw everything that He made; and it was very good. This was all done by the sixth day of creation. God the Father was involved in Creation. By the words of the Lord the heavens were made, and everything else; by His breath they were made. God rules over His creation; the heavens are His; the earth, the world; He has founded them. God created every angel. We give Him praise, the sun, the moons, the stars give Him praise; the heavens of heavens give him praise; and the waters that are above the heavens give Him praise. Let us praise the Lord of the heavens; for He commanded; and we were created. God created everything. He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance. The Lord of hosts is His name. Creation reveals God's greatness; He formed the mountains; created the wind, declares unto man what his thoughts are; makes the morning darkness; and treads upon the high places of the earth. Jesus was involved in Creation; for by Him all things that are in heaven and on earth were created; those things which are visible and the invisible. Whether they are thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers. All things were created by Him, and for Him. God the creator is worthy of worship. The Lord is worthy to receive glory, honor, and power for He has created all things, and for His pleasure they are and were created. God will make a new heaven and a new earth. The prophecies written in scripture read that a vision was seen of a new heaven and a new earth; because the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist; and there was no more sea. And John saw the holy city new Jerusalem coming down from God from out of heaven; prepared as a bride is adorned for her husband. And he (John) heard a great voice out of heaven saying "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God." It reads God will wipe away all tears from our eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor anymore pain because the former things will have passed away. This is what we find in scripture concerning the Creation. I hope this is helpful for you (the reader) to understand. Creation will be re-created one day. The City of Jerusalem will descend from heaven and be here on earth. It is only a matter of time when all the prophecies that have been written in the Bible will be fulfilled. Until next time; take care..and God bless you! The Lord be with you and comfort you! Amen!

After the flood (and the fall of man) God made a covenant with Noah, his family, and all flesh on earth. He promised that He would never again destroy the whole earth by flood. His promise can be trusted; because God cannot and will not lie. Later, Jesus, in the feast of unleavened bread; or the last supper before the Passover, spoke about the meaning of the feast. The feast symbolized His promise of a reconciliation of man with Him; His relationship with man; with His followers. He had established a new covenant with believers. He spoke saying, this is the new testament in my blood which is shed for you. The feast was symbolic. God's covenant brings life to those who believe. God is our sufficiency. We need not be concerned of what is written down in history or commend ourselves regarding our ability to Minister or our relationship with Christ; we don't need to be concerned whether or not we are recognized in public in writing or receive letters of commendation for our relationship with Him, but, He sees our hearts in secret; and rewards us in secret. He is our sufficiency. The Holy Spirit gives us life when what is written can sometimes destroy us (when you take into consideration how we sometimes worry about these things). The new covenant is superior to the old covenant in that Jesus has obtained a more excellent Ministry in that He died on the cross and paid the penalty of our sin. He bought our salvation. He is the mediator between us and the Father (God) and of a better covenant which has been established with better promises. The old covenant foreshadowed the new covenant in that it was a preparation for the things to come; the sacrificial lambs that were used; were used with the purpose of preparing man for Jesus' (the ultimate) sacrifice which would be perfect for atonement (or payment) of our sins. Everything God does and establishes is perfect, and is for a purpose. When we look further into the meaning of it all and study the scriptures; with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are able to unlock the secrets and truth in everything, from how it was done, why it was done, and how we (the believers) are benefitting from it all. So we should keep in mind to further study and find the amazing promise that our God has made for us all.. Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing to others.. Pastor Noemi
Reflection: God's children have courage even in the worst of situations; they will not lose faith in their God because they trust in the Lord and His promise to see them through it; they know that God will avenge their sufferings; their enemies will suffer punishment for any wrong against them..God gives us victory. Jesus told his disciples of the pain and suffering they would endure; the trials, tribulations, and persecutions that would come to them because of their allegiance to Him; but he encouraged them; and told them not to fear because He had overcome the world; nothing in the world could separate us from His love. That no matter what we go through; our eternal fate/life is secure with Him (because of his death on the cross). The Holy Ghost fills believers with the courage they need to speak boldly about Christ and His word. Courage helps us represent Christ. God has a plan for every purpose and mission He sends his children on. We need not be afraid of having need; for He will provide a way and supply our needs. So, we do not need to worry about who will go with us; he will have prepared a companion for any mission we're sent on; and all will go accordingly as planned; for God's will will be done. Christians should be courageous. Even if you feel that you are not able or capable to express God's words or instruction, He encourages us to pray for the ability to do so. His word says "ask, and ye shall receive" the Lord gives us freely whatever it is that we need to fulfill His purpose in our lives. We need not be afraid to go to the Lord our God with a petition or request for strength or abilities to fulfill our tasks; the Lord will grant us whatever we need to be used as His vessel; to reach out to the world. We can pray to God with confidence and not be ashamed or afraid. I hope this study is useful to anyone who feels discouraged or ashamed. You do not need to be afraid; God know's your heart and who you are; He wants to hear your prayer; He will give you what you need. May you and yours be blessed..until next time.. Pastor Noemi
TODAY'S REFLECTION: It is better to confess our sins than to cover them up. When people try to cover their sins up as if they were innocent, they cheat themselves of the chance to grow spiritually. Those are the people who never grow in the congregation, or get promoted to a leadership position. The light that God shines in our hearts is designed to set us free. When we suppress our conscience, we deny ourselves the ability to absorb, or see the light; the truth; therefore we live in darkness; in a lie. The Holy Spirit is that voice in the back of our minds that speaks to us when we're in danger of making a bad choice. It's what stops you from living or telling a lie. We Christians must keep our consciences clear; some have deliberately violated that command, and as a result, compromised their faith, and are ultimately destroyed by the devil. Leaders of the congregation must also have a clear conscience; they have to be committed to telling the truth concerning Christian faith; they have to be able to guide those who are still in darkness. A warning against false teachers: false teachers are hypocritical; they lie; they pretend to be religious, but their consciences are dead. They live in deception; and we must ask for discernment from God to be able to differentiate between the two. Because sin is so detestable before God's eyes; only Jesus' perfect sacrifice could pay the penalty of our sins. His blood is what purifies our hearts; from those deeds that lead to death. And because of it; now we can worship our living God. A clear conscience helps us to live a life that is pleasing before God's eyes; we must live in a gentle and respectful way. It is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong. Blessings to you and yours! Pastor Noemi |
